Pacific Grace
MB Church Special Announcement Regarding the COVID-19 Pandemic
As you are aware, concerns regarding COVID-19
(coronavirus) have been circulating in recent weeks. We want to let you know
that the health and safety of our members and visitors is our priority at
Pacific Grace MB Church. We are closely monitoring the situation, and we will
adhere to any recommendations made by the province and local health officials
regarding public gatherings. This is a dynamic situation that is changing every
day.
The Deacon Board and pastors have decided to cancel all in-house worship gatherings,
Sunday School classes fellowships and prayer meetings until further notice
to minimize the risk of illness and protect those who are entrusted to us. AWANA regular program will also not be
running until further notice (no earlier than April 17).
We have not made this decision lightly, but we
believe it is the wisest course of action at this time. We will keep church news
and related course of action posted periodically. When we decide it is
safe to resume our regular activities and other events, we will communicate
that to you through various means.
In the meantime, we suggest that you make use of online resources such as Facebook
Live, Youtube, Zoom and Google Meet as a way to connect. We will
provide instructions on how to use these online resources for those who need
help.
For this coming Sunday’s English
Service, we will post on the church’s website (www.pgmbc.com) on how you can join the service.
Pastors and Administrative staff
members will continue to work on the church premises. Please do not hesitate to
contact us for any enquiries.
We are aware that situations like these can stir
up fear and anxiety, God is sovereign over all things, and our ultimate hope is
found in Jesus. Although we won’t be gathering for services and events, we encourage you to stay connected to the
church body through calls, texts, and online engagement. Pray for those
affected by this virus as we wait for Christ to return and bring about a day
without sickness, suffering, and death.
In Christ,
Rev. Xavier Law, Senior Pastor

Regarding the COVID-19 Pandemic
