For the first part of this year we have been exploring the first two statements in the annual theme for our church: Reviving and Rebuilding. In the coming weeks, as we prepare to go on a missions trip to Casa de Luz in Mexico and run our Summer Soccer Camp, we will begin looking at what it means, and what it might look like in our personal lives as well as a church, to begin Reaching Out. The title of the series is People of the Open Door and we will be exploring the themes presented in a book by John Ortberg, All the Places to Go, both in our worship service as well as our adult Sunday School.

  1. Welcome to Mother’s Day English/ Cantonese/Mandarin Joint Service @ the sanctuary, the Gym, and A8. Let’s show our appreciation to all the mothers! Children will be worshipping in the gym, accompanied by their parents. After the Prayer time, children of K-Grade 1 will go to room A9 and Grade 2-6 will go to room B7 for a special program.

The earphones for Mandarin translation are ready for pick up on the reception desk.  The sermons will be uploaded to our YouTube channel at 2:30 pm. There is no In-Person English Sunday School today.

  1. Thank God for answering our prayers and leading Rev. Mickey Mak to take up the Senior Pastor position starting Monday (May 12).

We have started a new sermon series following the season of Lent in preparation for celebrating Easter. The series is called Faith Odyssey and will take us on a journey of faith following Jesus to the cross and beyond to the new life that is ours because of the resurrection.

  2. 7/19 Church Picnic @ Mundy Park in Coquitlam, please register to get the meal coupon from 6/15.
