Communion
We will be changing the way we take Communion today. We will be inviting those who are participating to make their way to the front and take the elements back to their seat. If you are with someone who cannot easily come to the front, please feel free to take the elements back for them. Both packaged and open elements will be provided
Starting today the JAM program will be replaced by Kids’ Corner between 10:00-11:15 in room B7. The kids will no longer join the adults in the English service. This new approach aims to provide our kids with a more natural flow on Sunday mornings and a worship time that’s better tailored to their ages. We’re excited to see how this new rhythm will help them not only better engage at church but also experience His presence in meaningful ways.

New Sermon Series – Living the Good News in Our Community
Starting October 5th and running through November 23rd we will be engaging in discovering what it means to live the good news of Jesus in the community in which our church finds itself and in our everyday lives. We have both a vision and a mission statement as a church as well as a theme we have adopted for the year. (See the front page of the weekly bulletin.) The goal is to move from statements that sound good in principle to living them out. Pastors Bill and Don, along with Rev. Mak, will share in the preaching in this series, laying out the basis for why this is important and giving some practical examples of how we can effectively live that out. Our adult Sunday School will follow up during the same period with a study on The Art of Neighbouring. The purpose is to take what we are learning to a personal level in living the good news out in the communities in which we live. Come ready to be challenged as well as to grow in what it means to be a follower of Jesus.
EM In-Person Prayer on Wed. 7:30pm in B11, please come in through the gym
The English Evangelism department is partnering with Union Gospel Mission (UGM) for their Gifts of Hope drive. From November 2 to 16, we are collecting new and unwrapped toys for ages 0 – 18.
