Be cautious when receiving messages from individuals claiming to be church staff. False emails and texts are becoming increasingly common. Some of these messages appear legitimate, but they’re not from church staff. If you receive an unusual message requesting money, gift cards, or personal information, verify it with the church first. Contact the church office or a staff member before responding. Let’s look out for one another.
Please pray for the sick and their families.

New Sermon Series – Living the Good News in Our Community
Starting October 5th and running through November 23rd we will be engaging in discovering what it means to live the good news of Jesus in the community in which our church finds itself and in our everyday lives. We have both a vision and a mission statement as a church as well as a theme we have adopted for the year. (See the front page of the weekly bulletin.) The goal is to move from statements that sound good in principle to living them out. Pastors Bill and Don, along with Rev. Mak, will share in the preaching in this series, laying out the basis for why this is important and giving some practical examples of how we can effectively live that out. Our adult Sunday School will follow up during the same period with a study on The Art of Neighbouring. The purpose is to take what we are learning to a personal level in living the good news out in the communities in which we live. Come ready to be challenged as well as to grow in what it means to be a follower of Jesus.
EM In-Person Prayer on Wed. 7:30pm in B11, please come in through the gym
In partnership with Union Gospel Mission’s Gifts of Hope, we were able to collect four big boxes of toys, donated by members of the PG Family, to bless children ages 0–18. May God’s love be felt throughout the community
