Pastor Esmond Chow

Pastor Esmond was born in Hong Kong.  He immigrated to Vancouver when he was in his late teens.  Shortly after, he was invited to Pacific Grace MB church ( “PGMBC”). It was there where he made the decision to accept Jesus as his personal Saviour.  It was also there that his Christian life was being cultivated, and where his faith and love for God grew. He has worked in the power engineering industry since he graduated from UBC department of Applied Science in 1988.

In 1995, God led him and a group of brothers and sisters to plant a church in south Vancouver—south Vancouver PGMBC; therefore, Pastor Esmond and his family attended and served in that church since then.  In 2018, he felt compelled to pursue his Master of pastoral ministry at Carey Theological School. In 2020, God remarkably led him back to PGMBC for an internship.  Subsequently, he served as an apprentice pastor for a year.  He is currently serving as a Cantonese Ministry Pastor.

Pastor Esmond is married and has a son and daughter. He enjoys all kinds of sports, particularly tennis and golf.   He welcomes everyone to challenge him in both sports.
